Journey to Alien Worlds is a free VR game that lets you experience the feeling of standing on surfaces of satellites, planets and comets. It also lets you see the great scenery there, and helps you understand the differences between Earth and the heavenly bodies.
Multiple Sights to Behold
With this VR experience, you would not require a bulky spacesuit to head into outer space, landing on satellites, comets and planets of the Earth’s solar system in the process. The game lets you experience the feel that you get when standing on these celestial bodies’ surface. You get to view the beautiful scenery and also learn the nuanced differences between Earth and its peers.
You could also witness the significant accomplishments of humans in the field of outer space exploration, and also get introduced to the probes and landers used and the designs. There are currently six sights to experience such as Venus and Venera 7 and the Cassini orbiter and Saturn. More sights would get added in the future.
Currently Being Developed
The game is currently in ‘early access’ stage, which means it's still under development. But that shouldn’t prevent you from playing the game. The game, however, may not work as seamlessly or as per the developer’s final vision for the game.
In this development stage, Ideographer (the developer) is working on improving the game’s interactivity and VR experience. There are also plans to add additional scenes like the Cassini project, along with the final stage. By the way, the developer is open to suggestions and feedback from users.
